Ventura County Professional Firefighters Local 1364 is saddened to announce the passing of Fire Engineer Ryan Osler, 38, who was killed this morning while responding to the Canyon Fire on Vandenberg Air Force Base.Osler was traveling in a water tender tanker when the vehicle crashed, rolling over several times. LBFD Engineer Darren Rockett succumbed this past week to job-related illness a few days before his 48th birthday. Engineer Rockett was a 14-year veteran of Long Beach Fire, having been appointed in September of 1997. The City of Pasadena and Pasadena Firefighters Local 809 mourn the death of Pasadena fire engineer Kevin Moore, a 32-year department veteran, who succumbed to sudden cardiac arrest on Tuesday, May 31 after just finishing his 24-hour shift.
