Local 1230 members barbecuing at the Blues Brews & BBQ event on the Streets of Brentwood Mall. Engines 52 & 88 gave kids a tour of the rigs and shook hands with the public. On Sunday, May 29th, Local 1230 took 3rd in the inaugural backyard BBQ competition.
East Contra Costa Fire Crews from Engines 94, 54, & 59 recently did an outstanding job along with Contra Costa County Animal Services in rescuing a retired race horse.
