The recruits will then be placed with fire companies throughout the Fire District and begin their probation and careers with Contra Costa County Fire. Congratulations and welcome to our family! MDA Fill The Boot Fundraising Information 2015

ANTIOCH HOUSE FIRE DISPLACES RESIDENTS

At 11:27 PM last night on December 12th crews from the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District responded to a report of a structure fire at 405 Minner Ave in Antioch. Upon arrival the first engine found a fully involved travel trailer on the side of the house. Fire had also extended into the attic of the adjacent home as well as a fence on the side yard. We will be having several other charity drives later this year throughout the County. 4 YEAR OLD GIRL SAVED FROM NEAR-DROWNING IN ANTIOCH

Shortly after 6pm on Saturday, April 27th, Contra Costa County Fire District Engine 82 responded to a report of a 4 year old female drowning in the pool at the In-Shape Fitness facility on Lone Tree Way in Antioch. Fitness center staff reported they were performing CPR on the girl who was pulled from the pool. Engine 82, with two paramedics on board, arrived on scene within two minutes. National Night Out 2012 - August 7th

Fire crews from Contra Costa County Fire will be participating again this year with National Night Out events. Events are planned for San Pablo, Antioch and Concord tomorrow night, August 7th. National Night Out events across the Nation involve neighborhoods, public safety agencies, civic groups, businesses, and others, in order to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for local anticrime programs, and strengthen partnerships with law enforcement.

CCCFPD Engine 88 Rescues a Citizen from Early Morning Fire in Antioch

At 0648 hours on November 16th CCCFPD Engine 88 was dispatched to the report of a structure fire in Antioch. Upon their arrival they had heavy smoke and flames coming from the first floor of a 2 story residence.   With a quick investigation the Fire Captain found a citizen who was in need of rescue from the 2nd story window. The crew snapped into action and were able to rescue the citizen from a ladder. Great job to Engine 88 and all other fire crews on scene at the early morning fire.

Early Morning Rescue in Antioch on October 27th, 2011

In the early morning hours of October 27th a residential structure fire occurred in Antioch. Alarm came in at 0038 hours in Station 81's area. Upon arrival Engine 81 had heavy smoke & flames coming from the front of the structure and immediately went to work. After a quick knock down and a primary search a victim was located by Firefighter Cahill. The victim was found unconscious and with agonal respirations.
